It speaks some truth about me |
|
The real me
The real me hides behind my eyes
Far from the world
No one sees what is me
My eyes don’t show
What they want
Instead of being free
My true hope is
The real me will break in
Pass the dawn
So everyone can see the real me

I can relate, Brianne; and I am quite certain that I am not the only one. Your poetry is honest and real and expresses a lot of feeling. Thank you for sharing. Love and peace,

Brianne... I miss you.
Where have you been, Sweetie?
Is everything okay? Your poetry makes my heart ache so.
I would like you to write a Thanksgiving poem for me, if you want to.
I'm praying to hear from you again. Be safe. Love&Hugs, Rhonda
