Been riding this horse forever
From sunrise to sunset in a gentle breeze
Searching for those in trouble
With whom my gentle touch can please

Galloping in, full of pride
Sure I can slay the dragon of pain
I enter the fray full force
Mind in a fury, maybe a little insane

As each battle rages on
Fighting insecurity, self doubt and fear
With the fierce sword of love and understanding
I win, watching their face lose a single tear

A tear of joy for themselves
A tear of sadness for the truth of this day
This battle is now over
So now they must be on their way

I admit to having fallen
For the lovely maidens in distress
As well as off my horse
A dented helmet is such a mess

Having fallen time and again
Whether by the brutal hit from the dragons tail
Or a crushing blow from a maiden
I remount without fail

With age and experience in life
I choose my battles with more care
And have found more success
By being a friend, just being there

It tugs at my warriors heart
Realizing I no longer can save them all
Funny how the more I work on me
The shorter and softer the fall

So, damsel's if you want a brave knight
With dented armor on the skull
You better speak up now
For my dance card is almost full

But if I answer your call
To fight with you at your side
Be certain of my committment
To bring love, understanding and pride
