Jack Spratt
Could eat
No fat, his wife
Could eat
No lean.

Spliced together,
I wonder what that means?

Am I nuts? …

Am we waiting, am we wondering.
Am I nuts, or pupil-speaking?

I love the prisms
Of oblique sight.

Am I nuts?

I am sickened by Now’s taste
Of politicals. For(u)ms? Well, once,
Now, billionized. By the I-know-what-is-best
For-you-idiom. I think that species has died
Its own death, continually, tragically,
Whatevereally, really already is.

Am I nuts?
