It aims at telling the arrogant people to swallow their pride.

Arrogance

The say ignorance has no defence,

I say arrogance  has no defence.

Have time to listen to others.

Don't be the empty vessel, which makes the most noise.

Don't be the odd one out.

Don't be a fish out of water.

Don't  be the lost sheep.

Don't be the prodigal son.

Don't be hot headed.

Swallow your pride.

 Listen ,reflect and learn.

Two minds are better than one.

The world has people, who know better than you.

I have been there I know it all,

Does not work  to date.

Gone are the days ,when arrogance was equated to intelligence.

Being a hot head, Being arrogant is suicidal.

Have time to listen to others.

Reflect on it before you act.

Being arrogant makes Tom, a dull boy.

Being pompous makes Susan, an empty vessel.

Wisdom is measured by one's ability ,

To adapt, reflect and learn.

Being a man-mountain of arrogance,

I don't care attitude will cost you, your diginity.

Bravo,Swallow your arrogance.

Welcome, to the world of team work.

Welcome, to the world of two is company.

Welcome, to the planet of co-operation.

Heart, welcome,to the three Ls.

Look,listen and learn.

Take these abbrevations seriously.

Listen , reflect and  learn.

This is a very uplifting and refreshing attitude. Thank you for sharing!
But what do you do when...

"The world has people who know better than you" however keep that knowledge to themselves, it seems to give them power.

"Welcome, to the world of team work.Welcome, to the world of two is company.Welcome, to the planet of co-operation." It takes at least two to be a team, company and co-operation, this only works when all are willing to be that team.

Of course I am talking about a very dis- functional work place, that has developed in this culture over a long period of time, of what I can only describe as hatred, and noone is willing to do anything about it.

What about??????????

You have dozens of choice proverbs in your poem that very much apply to me. I see needing to go back a reread this poem from time to time lest I forget. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
