A little Texas wisdom....

The western diamond back
side winds, looks like it's going one way,
slides back the other, forked tongue
flicking poison saliva in every direction,
stays within the lines just enough
to be in line and bends just enough
to be slightly out of line, obeying
the laws of nature  as it continues to
pursue and goes into hibernation, stands still while
shedding its skin, but moving or not, its
hinged fangs are still loaded and waiting
to strike, even reacting in death.

Dead or alive - Never trust that old snake!

And don't forget to look inside your boots

before putting them on!
