Death called collect

payment due

pay in full

no credit

no 19.95 a month

no post dated checks

cash n carry

five, six pick up Styx

eleven, eleven

back to seven,

take the first right

to the stairway to heaven,

fall into the arms of Carrion,

sailing the Edmund Fitzgerald

through the curtain

seperating the night from the light

and taking up spirits and

messages for bottled sales

to the addicted whose thirst

can never be quenched.

There are many souls' vessel who journey upon a self medicating voyages...Seeking to cover their hearts remains...Years wasted in hidding heartache, only to find the bottle empty again...regret is valuable, but a huge price to pay as the hands of time are merciless.....some thirsts are merely steming from a hidden hunger
as always I love the wisdom & message of your lovely poetry....
