It's the music that
reminds me of
time passing,
taking me back --
Four bars of intro,
mellow seduction,
And I am there again:
Magical dark,
smoke and mirrors,
and all the pretty boys.
Ah.
It was not
so painful then.
But memory
is a minefield,
and I am
limbless,
fractured in
remembering,
splintered
in soul.
