A Taste Of Rosa's Pain

Rosa just wanted to be loved and held dear. She just wanted a little tenderness. |
|
Rosa was an aged beauty,
She walked in grace as she carried out her daily household duties.
She kept house for an ungratful son and a soured man.
The warmth that graced the abode was rendered from Rosa's gentle hand.
She gave her best from day to day,
Never with any thanks given, no one had anything nice to say.
The men in her life had always been given the best,
They did not realize that other men were given much less.
Rosa always hoped for kindness, but none ever came,
Day after weary day, it was always the same.
As Rosa created her savory spaghetti sauce, her heartbroken tears fell into the brew,
Her life was a tragic mess and that realization made her sad and blue.
Rosa's sauce was a delight, it was simmered slowly, a true dining pleasure,
While Rosa was daily ignored, when she should been valued like a treasure.
Rosa's heartbroken tears, was the secret in the sauce,
You got a taste of Rosa's pain, as over the pasta it was tossed.
Rosa, an earthy Angel, had the patience of Job,
She dreamed her sad little dereams, while she was a slave to the stove.
If you ever get a chance to sample Rosa's sauce and dine at her place,
Say something nice about the sauce and watch a smile adorn her lovely face.
An Angel's tears and sadness grace the sauce,
Give her a little praise and tenderness, for her self-esteem is at a loss.

Oh how bittersweet and emotional this story is. For one to feel so trapped as this lovely lady does just breaks my heart...
Be always safe,

| Very sad, very very sad. Unfortunately I could not read the other pieces about rape, it haunts me for months. I make it a habit to never watch movies with scenes of rape. |

Sometimes we can't find the words to describe something angelical, you, with this one...did it!
One of your very best, send it to a few women magazines, i am sure that it will touch a few hearts.

Extremely clever writing. This is so beautiful and we each have a secret ingredient. But who would have thought..hers would be a tear.
