A bridge in the woods crossed in the snow
Reminded me of what Christmas means
Feeling so blessed my heart all aglow
Jesus brings us to the Father all clean
Religion has nothing to do with this
The method of saving grace is all His
It has to do with our relationship to him
A very serious matter not just a whim
If you want to cross the bridge to eternity
learn to  trust yourself to Christ's sincerity

The bridge to eternity - I truly wonder these days how many of us will be allowed to cross.

One can cross a bridge or burn it afterwards, but the end destination should be the same as we take Jesus hand and walk without fear towards it.

It has to do with our relationship to him. A very serious matter not just a whim. The whole essence of our life is contained in how we conduct ourselves in the manner He has prescribed. Splendid poetry with an interior message.

Crossed over long ago.
Never looked back
Wasn't saved in a church
Got saved out on a limb
When I fell to Him.
Great eighth line.
