It ia a gray, wintery afternoon,
You build a fire in the fireplace, to warm the cold and gloom.
You want to read, so I lay my head in your lap,
You stroke my hair and I purr like a contented cat.
Just being near you, makes my life complete,
You give me the serenity that I seek.
I feel so warm and safe with my head nestled in your lap,
Soon I drift off, enjoying a cat nap.
Soon I feel your hand slip under my sweater, as it caresses my breast,
Your touch is always welcome, it fills me with happiness.
I feel your awakening need beneath my head,
I know we will be making love soon and the bear rug will be our bed.
You lean down and kiss my eager lips,
I gently stroke your hair with trembling fingertips.
We undress quickly and lay in front of the fire,
Our hands, lips and tongues, ignites passion's desire.
Our need is great, there is no time for delay,
You enter me swiftly, our burning hunger is the magical foreplay.
Outside, Father Winter, howls and beats at the door,
But we are safe and warm in each others arms, on a bear skin rug on the floor.
