Or - a place to go Potty!
Or - a verb, meaning Able.
Or - an abbreviation for Canada.
CANAAN - an area of Ancient Palestine.
CANAANITES - the Israelites, a Semitic People.
CANAILLE - lowest class of People (Literary Disapproving).
CANAL - artificial Waterway.
CANALICULATE - lengthwise grooves or Hollows.
CANALICULUS - tear duct to Lacrimal Sac.
CANAPE’ - bite-sized Pastry.
CANARD - deliberately false report, or Rumor.
CANARY - small yellow Finch.
CANASTA - a card game, form of Rummy.
CANCAN - chorus line Dance - kicks showing Bloomers!
CANCEL - to stop or invalidate Something.
CANCELBOT - a computer program that finds and cancels
Unwanted Articles sent to Internet News Group.
CANCER - Constellation in Northern Hemisphere.
Lower Case = Malignant Tumor!

CANTALA - coarse strong fiber - a species of Agave,
Used to make nets, rope, and Twine.
CANTALOUPE - any orange-fleshed Melon.
CANTANKEROUS - see MATLACK!
CANTATA - musical composition for voices and instruments.
CANTATRICE - female Singer, especially of Opera.
CANTEEN - a place where food is Served,
OR - small container for holding Liquids.
CANTER - smooth easy Gait of a horse or Donkey.
CANTHARIS - Aphrodisiac - Spanish Fly!
CANTHUS - angle at either side of the Eye.
CANTICLE - a song or chant, especially a Hymn.
CANTILENA - smooth-flowing melodious musical Line.
CANTILEVER - a bracket or Support.
CANTILLATE - to chant, or Intone, especially Hebrew Scriptures.
CANTINA - a Spanish bar or wine Shop.
CANTLE - raised back part of a Saddle.
CANTO - main division of a long Poem.
CANTON - a division of a country, like in Switzerland, or China.
CANTONMENT - temporary accommodations for Troops.
CANTOR - chief singer in a synagogue - see EDDIE!
CANTUS FIRMUS - a melody, derived from Chant.
CANTY - cheerful, lively, sprightly - England - Scotland.

Although there’s about ten more CAN… Words,
I CAN’T DO NO MO!
I count Twenty-six CANT words Above!
And about Seventy-Seven CAN Words!

I can dig it - I can dig it - I can dig it - I can dig it - Remind ya of a very old rock song? Ha! My first experience with a canape was at a banquet where a plate of them was brought out ... and I ate them! I weathered the frowns with a pleased stomach :-)
