A Sense of Worth

Once

I stood in solitude

Against

The wind of night,

Confessing

All my satan's past

With eager thought for light.

The pain

Of knowing I'd been misjudged

And graven marks were etched

Upon My heart

of earnest trust

Once

too young

caressed.
