Not quite yet up to snuff…

Not much "health & wellness" here today, but...

Feeling better,

But still a bit under the weather,

No longer am I flowing,

Then again I got nothing to flow,

Haven’t felt like eating,

A lot instead I have been sleeping…

Had to take Rufuz for a walk,

It’s a responsibility that I don’t of balk,

He sits on his leash all day outside,

Too warm and enclosed is it inside…

But it was a short walk nonetheless,

I found myself unable to tread far,

This virus I had will leave on me a scar,

I hope by tomorrow my aches I will be able to suppress…

Many of us have seemd to have a virus in this Ny. I caught mine I think from the Grandkids at Christmas. They were sick at least two of them were. Illness comes and goes and hopefully you will be feeling stronger soon and able to eat more foods that are good for you.

Lil'brother, grandma had a sure cure for the runs, boil a generose cup of rice with a quart of water, let it to cool and drink the water.
It will quench thirst, put water in your system after feber-sweating, and dry up the leaking plumbing.
Like they say in Norway and Sweden God Bedring! (Good Recovery!)

Oh yeh...and when you get that chicken soup down be sure to drink some orange juice (or eat one) or bananna...keep that potassium level correct. You have lost a lot of essential vitamins. Force fluids!

I am sure we are praying for you. I am.

Hang in there, Ed. My dad has been sick this week too--the doc said it's the cold that's making its rounds nationwide. Read a good book--Edgar Sawtelle is about dogs and based on Hamlet. What a great read! Eileen

One day at a time, dear Ed. At least you aren't where you were. Right? Get your rest, chicken soup for the soul, and prayers from me should get you up to snuff.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
