A Place Called Home

The softness of skin as it touches on a cold winter’s night.

The warmth that is shared between two souls feels so right.

Oh the sweet scents which still linger long after loves embrace.

Oh the rush of emotions which storm the heart of lips tender taste.

Then two hearts, but only one now remains in which to beat.

Purged now of these feeling am I except where memories now meet.

The cold wind still howls and the old house still moans and groans.

Such is born the emptiness of a place once called home.

I cannot get used to the lonely nites and the loneliness either. I still write about Tom and my feelings. It is natural to mourn your love. God has taken them home and left us to carry on the work he has for us still even though we don't know why. I try to carry on but somedayd are harder than others too. Take care and my prayers go with you too.

I had this feeling of "emptiness" just before Christmas when I knew that none of our parents are going to be with us this year; but luckily other relatives have stepped forward to make this a much enjoyable Christmas than I had expected.

Sometimes "emptiness" dwell within us for a long time after someone dear to us have left and we felt we are left behind. I hope you will rid of this feeling of "emptiness" soon, for really, you still have a whole lot to live for.

Love your emotional write. You've always expressed it so well!!!

Take care!

Hugs,

Sandie Angel :o)

So you think you have felt a "cold wind", do you...well, bucko you don't know cold till you have felt that same wind, be it real outside wind or an emotionally cold breeze while living in this fully uninsulated home on wheels we live in...perfect analogy though for your emotional deep freeze...stay warm in Christ as best you can, I think He can help, as you know Him better than I...Ed & Rufuz
