In the Inauguration Parade I would have loved to see a couple of hundred War Veterans marching pass the new President.
Nothing could had more impact to President Obama that a welcome from those that gave above the line of duty.

We shall see if we truly have newness or sameness. Everything still has to go through Congress, that bunch of self-serving, lobbyist infested wolves.

I hope he can help our nation reunite and return her to her former glory; all we can do is pray for the man and his Cabinet. God help us all!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)
I didn't vote for him, but I gotta respect him; he IS our leader now! And I can pray for him and his family! :) |

I hope so too - but the first thing he must do is be BOLD enough to immediately without delay reverse the damage that is still reversible done by BUSH. Some destruction it is too late to reverse. But it will not stop unless he uses a heavy hand to throw the "termites in the log of our natural resource management" OUT! Compromises will not work here.
Fire those Bush put in! Such as BLM, Interior, EPA, etc
As it is Palin is still in control in Alaska and our Gov. here in FL is no "Green Saint"
But thanks for your optimism anyway - I will hope and ACT GREEN!
Later, michael |

| Look in the scriptures Ed, Jesus was one of the first environmentalists, I don't remember the exact place where, but it was about wholesomeness and healing, which springs from the soul, and what that soul does to stay healthy, I bet you a million HE was right on! Blessings friend! Jasmin Horst |

How stymied our minds have become due to deceipt from and disappointment of our executive and legislative branches. We now have elected a man of Hope, and with that hope spreading though our nation, we can imagine and accomplish those aspects that will protect our nation's lands; inspire us to be more conscious of our citizen's duties; encourage us "to heal Mother Earth".
Inspiring words in your poetry, dear Ed!
Green Up and cure ourselves!

Ed,
Those that forget history are condemned to repeat it ... if we haven't taken care of Earth (and each other), what makes you think we'll start now? Hopefully, I'm wrong ... but humanity has a dismal record.
