This poem was written in Sept, 2005 by our grandson, Richard 3rd . He was 8, 1/2 then.

A rose may be red with life

The rose maybe white and pure

The rose can be black with evil,

Always know in your heart,

that there is good and bad everywhere

Hope and love can conquer all

By, Rich Patterson

Must be a terrific grandson to write this at his age. Very caring and perceptive about life. Encourage him to write more and pass it on to others.

Your 8 year-old grandson is a gem. He has a good understanding of life. Just go to show you that one can always learn from youngsters too.

Give your grandson a big hug for me!!!
