I Move on....

It moves as swiftly as love comes and goes
Heartaches and pain seem inevitable in time
Joy rushes by your days swoosh its gone
Children are born then never to be seen again

Pets are hugged then move through the Veil
Your sick then health rise’s it happy head
One minute you believe someone then falsity
You teach then watch ignorance in the taught

Cycles of abuse replay in your generations
You can’t say enough about being the victim
Then your sons become just that, blinded by love
So sad as everyone must learn on their own

Tears come and go, let them alone it’s just

Whispers From The Veil

You've touched the pulse of life with this poem. Sometimes life feels like an obstacle course, but one thing I've learned from my many years of experience is that if we are goal centered and strive to tackle those problems along life's way, then we become stronger by our effort and more able to deal with the next set of problems. However, we can only do it for ourselves and not for others....

Your last line is a wise statement: "So sad as everyone must learn on their own." Children demand independence before they have the knowledge and intellect to handle responsibility. They seem determined to rush out into the world like explorers, then they stumble and fall, and get up and do it again, and we can only pray they learn from their mistakes.

Good write, Theresa.
