She was blissfully calm this day,

A few rollers headed towards my way,

Not a hint of wind, no sails in sight,

A good conversation had, we never fight…

Walked for just about a mile,

Not very far, just a little while,

Nothing she had to admonish me about,

I didn’t leave her presence this time with a pout…

A relaxing time had by both,

Feel did she I recently had some growth,

To her my love I did, as I always do, make an oath,

Showed my love by removing plastic from her shore,

A walk on her beach & a talk with her never a bore…

You gonna make a sailor cry, but no me I am always near Momma.
No sails around? are those boatmen just a bunch of ninnies?

Captivating indeed my friend for the beauty of this majestic lady is one that never fails to stir the heart of a poet or a sailor.

A wonderful time spent with Mom. See? She can be nice. :) It's her temper tantrums that you have to watch out for. Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
