A new path lies before me
I canít believe I am moving forward
Taking a new step in my life
Moving away from the people I call family
To start my own life
Never think I could do this
But having them tell me I can
Excited but afraid
I look back and see all the paths I took before
Not knowing what this new path has for me
I canít wait to see this new place
The new people
But afraid to see the people I love so far away
Thinking will I be like
But I know that the ones I love
Will always be a phone call away
Ready to give me their love
To help me on my new path
To guide me
For I know I have to be on my own path
To lead my own life
