Fran called me this morning and told me to look outside, I was surprised to see a blanket of white, Fran and I have not seen snow like this in Jamestown since we were in Grade School.

A blanket of white

It looks like a Christmas post card

A couple months to late

But an answer to prayer

Lord give us the rain we need

Turn into snow

It didnt last long four hours

Or so

But for a short time

Our world was covered

In a blanket of white.

You're lucky it wasn't more...or maybe not. It's all in the eye of the beholder. A light snow like this is just a thing of joy. Wonderful warm poem. Liz

Wish I could see some of that snow; I haven't seen a good snow in at least six years or more! How I miss it! Wonderful write, and please stay safe (and warm)! Love you!
