It’s hard to fill an empty heart
Empty in a lonely dark
That insists its presence, in the light of day
Struggles with love’s brighter way

Happy with unhappy
Vibrations and such
Agitations rise from a slight brush
With the truth
Speak if you dare
Ruffle feathers because you care

About what’s right, just, and fair
A moral code, an ethical flair
Sing and dance, live its tune
Living in a way unhappy hearts may soon
Smile from down deep inside
Open up broad and live life wide
