Getting older makes some changes but some things never change.

He knew he was getting old

His days, he had mostly sold

His fingers and toes were now, always cold

His manner now, not so bold

It became easier to tell the truth

It wouldn't cost an eye or tooth

It was not all changing for him

It was easy to see his eyes swim

When he saw the lady next door

When she bent over to clean the floor

When his eyes would there avert

When she turned and winked with a flirt
