Dedicated to the lovers of the Rose

An ode to a Rose

In mid winter

I sit at awe

Staring into my garden

There she still stands

All alone

Iridescent even under

The silvery beams of a full noon.

So proud

Though withering

Yelling into the night wind

Look at me

Remember me today

Remember how I looked

Remember me

In your tomorrow

When your days are gloom

In the middle of noon

She spoke to me

Not in words

But with the Beauty

Of her magnificence.

William "An Ode To A Rose" simply beautiful and I love roses as well.
I could feel the total allure of its' calling passion beckoning to be reckonized. Being a former rose gardener funny as it may seem those roses do seem to speak in their own magnificent way, not to mention their glow.

Hello William,

Beautiful and serenely romantic. Emotions expressed in silence are more eloquent and passionate, as this poem takes us to that wintry night...and the sight of that rose.

Your poem makes me know now, why they compare women to roses. The way you describe a rose is like a description of a beautiful woman. You are such a romantic, William, loved this Ode to a Rose.
Much peace, love, and light,

The communication between a rose and a man on a silent winter night, we bow our collective heads with a good dose of envy, we wished so many times that a flower looked at us that way.
