Y'all invited to come along with meeeeee ... LOL

Image (c) 2005, Karla Dorman

sitting on the beach, the
breeze parts my hair into
sections, so the sun can
shampoo my cares away.

i relax under the massage
of wavesong ebbing in
and out, in and out, until
sand and i become one.

38 degrees outside now.
no explanation needed
as to why i travel to my
favorite seaside location

-- if only in imagination.

(c) 2009, Karla Dorman (3/12)

Karla, you had me worried, for us baby boomers "tripping" has a whole different meaning. However, I enjoyed this very much. I have moved back to South Florida, but I still never go in the water. Just sit and watch it.

Karla you never cease to amaze me. Only the StormSpinner could write a stanza such as:

sitting on the beach, the
breeze parts my hair into
sections, so the sun can
shampoo my cares away.

I'm of the opinion that you're amongs the best of today's poets. Keep writing my friend and I'll keep enjoying the genius of your pen.

Hugs from sunny California,
Marcia
