A Poem a Day

A poem a day keeps the doctor away
Even a word or two
Creating in some way
Articulating your say
Empowers you to live life come what may

A poem a day keeps the doctor away
As an apple could do
Conjure up the juices
Creation induces
Paint on the canvas possible solutions

To life's problems
Come what may
In all our lives they’re here today
To show so much about ourselves
To raise us beyond
A sense of hell

A poem a day keeps the doctor away
As it’s meant to do
Revealing the heart
Of our true spark
Words given to me and you

A poem a day is like an apple a day, it keeps us healthy because it allows us a voice to speak. Great job Suzie!!!

Yes I must agree for sure, for a day that goes by that I do not write is to me a day that I forgot to be a writer and that in itself is a sin against the word.
