Out of the darkness comes fingers of light
Silently reaching out to embrace you
Guiding you towards a new tomorrow
With each measured step it draws you
Further from your deepest sorrow
Follow it’s path of twists and turns
Uncertainty leading your way
Searching for the truth that burns
Deep within you each day
Sightless visions of a past long gone
Regrets that you no longer hold to
Faith that the new day will make you strong
Bridges that have been crossed
Over troubled waters of doubt
Leading you to a place that you belong
Freeing you from the screams and shouts
From those of us who are left behind
