Sorry for not being around much but as I prepare my house to put up for sale, I catch myself running to my husband with pictures of the of us and the children back 25/35 years ago and think of how quickly the time has passed. Now I wonder who this handsome couple are, lol.

A Glimpse Of Love
March 21,2009
Written By: Rose Marie Rideout

I watched through the corner of my eye,
A shadow, just a glimpse was all I could see,
Of a life, of a love,another time,
I believe that couple were you and me.

Young and attractive were you,
Tall and persausive and so kind,
I felt I couldn’t live without you,
You were always on my mind.

We loved and grew together,
Life was the greatest for you and I,
Our love grew stronger through the years,
I knew you'd never say good-bye.

I often looked at you with the thought,
Of my life empty and so alone,
I know we'd never seperate darling,
Until God above calls one of us home.

But still I watch that shadow,
Through the corner of my eye,
I still see that love we once held,
The love we knew and I begin again to cry.

For we have never failed at love,
It just seem to fade away,
Like the stars up above the clouds,
New ones are found with each given day.

Love does seem to change as time goes by ... but it is nurtured, as well, through the years and grows in different ways. I've heard it said that love is wasted on the young, but I think love is never wasted, so love every moment that you can. Touching write, Rose ~ Hugs, Elizabeth (good luck with the move!) :)

Oh how filled with a lifetime of love and sharing are your words. Looking back in time yet setting your sights on all that is yet to be... The best of luck in your new home, may it shine with the same brilliance as this home you leave behind. Godspeed...

Be always safe,
Karen

Lovely in the written word; but better knowing that you've lived it!! What a blessing! We do have to progress thru life however..the point is that so many in this world never experience the beauty of true love and the security and peace that it brings... nice. Also, plz take it easy with the work on the house...remember...you are still trying to heal your other problems..and you don't want to have a setback. hugs, lindalaw
