What's Wrong
With this picture
When we take food from
The mouths of our heros
We expect them just to
Shake it off
As demons of wars
Dance through their heads.
What's wrong
When big names
Get big money
While those with no money
Are left to starve?
What's wrong with this picture
When food is taken out of a child's mouth
So big names
Can line deep pockets.

What's wrong with the picture? A whole lot - those who've served our Nation, our children, should lack for NOTHING. Painfully, powerfully penned - well done, Michelle.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. |

Something is most inherently wrong, and it's not going to get any better unless we band together and scream at the top of our lungs: "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! NO MORE!!" Heartbreaking write!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears! < |
