Alpha and the omega.

Adam got kicked out of
the garden
of course he really doesn't
have to beg anyones pardon
Maybe ask God's forgiveness

I don't mean to hurt
anyones feelings
but modern man is guilty of
much worse dealings
not to mention all the
senseless killings
Adam only bit an apple
same fruit used in todays Snapple

Personally where do you stand
still manipulated by the devil
or guided by the creators hand
The devil uses all of us
like a bar of soap
and when you'er stronger he
uses sex alcohol and dope
He even uses the priest
working for the pope

Judgement day will be the
end results
so we might as well do away
with the insults
However I stand insulted big
because quite a few I know
are lower than the pig
I also eat the ham
but I still give a dam
Most of them don't
maybe never won't
Life use to be kind of sad
until I forgave my no good dad

Like your rythme and tempo in "End Results"
It would be nice if people would think of the
"End Results" before they even start.
As always great write with a profound message.

Great that you forgave you dad, 'cause now he cant control you or your life. Your poem speaks a lot for all of us, Grady.

Powerful write, Gem; well penned! And if you can't forgive those who have wronged you, why should God forgive YOU?? Something to think about; in fact, that was the sermon today at church: our Pastor talked about this very thing; I chose to forgive my oldest sister who'd abused me emotionally years ago; still don't get along now, but maybe this will be a start. I have forgiven her; now the rest is up to her!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)

An excellent, thought provoking write, GEM. The last two lines are particularly poignant. Well done.
