YOU and YOU ALONE.

When I gaze at your handiwork
be it in the heavens above
or the earth below
blades of greenest grass
escarpments of Rock
rushing winds
cascading waterfalls
sweet little honeyeaters
beautiful painted sunsets
or the glorious dawn

I see YOU, and YOU ALONE...

Cats that laze in the sun
little dogs chewing on a bone
ants scurrying to stock their winter pantry
earthy coloured leaves falling from each tree
Large birds flying south for the winter
Cows and horses readying for the dry
sheep putting on winter woolies
the stillness that suggests ceasation for a time
People, people preparing for the coming weather
buying new or secondhand clothing in readiness

No Matter where I look, I see YOU and YOU ALONE..

The Morrow comes and at the appointed hour
we know that you Cried out," It is Finished"
Bowed your Beautiful, though bloodied head
gave up your spirit, to you father above
all this for us, so we might have eternal life
free from the marring of Sin and suffering
the perils of this life, and the one who orchestrated them
You did all this of you're own free will
though undeserving mankind saw it not
Maybe this year, Just Maybe, More will realize...

The enourmity of a sacrifice given by YOU and YOU ALONE...

People debate You're Existance
Or try to elevate themselves to you're level
they don Garb and call themselves Holy
parading around deciving many hearts
they are Mere Mortals, creations of your own hand
Not Creators, of such high magnitude
Others revere stone images, wooden or steel
many see Gold as their one and only
If only they could just see, see for one minute
the Wonder that you are, and the beauty within and without

If they could Just See, YOU and YOU ALONE...

I look at a delicately fashioned Lily
for which it is plain to see at a glance
the Mind, the thoughts, and the hands
that brought Just that ONE lily into existance
were not that of Cruel dicator
or a disgruntled created being
fallen yet disguised as many things
waiting to pull the biggest prank ever
on unsuspecting Mankind who is on the brink of ruin
NO, Nothing, No one, can ever ever be YOU..

For YOU are the ONE and ONLY, YOU and YOU ALONE..

Jesus, Yashua, Son of God, Saviour of the World
You who died a miserable cruel death
who suffered 40 minus One of the Lash
Staked out on a Cross, punishment reserved
for the common Criminal,
sneered at, mocked and humiliated
You took all that and more than we can ever imagine
For OUR disgraceful, Selfish, selfcentred, hides
Driven by a LOVE we still are learning
so we can inherit, as Joint heirs with YOU..

No Man, No entity, or created Thing, may take the title of KING
NO, that is Reserved for YOU, and YOU ALONE!

Thank You Lord, for Being YOU!
