War-In-My-Head

WAR-IN-MY-HEAD

I tried to join the military
But they wouldn’t let me in
So I became my own 5-Star General
I formed my own Army
I started my own War

I was run down by Black Choppers
(I seen thru the eyes of Brother Wolf)
I was surrounded by Airforce Fighting Planes
At Ground Zero

The Balance of Power
(NOT AGAIN!)
In the Hands of a Huron
(I thought we got rid of that problem like 350 years ago)

. . . ONDOUTAEHTE . . .

History has a way of
Repeating Itself
Whether we like it or not
Bitter Irony stacked upon Bitter Irony

The Hawk Flew away
From the seers arms
Over the Horizon
Around the curve of the Earth

The seer’s cries of
“Come Back . . . Come Back”
Were not heard
There was no turning back

I went back in time
Farther back
Then I care to admit
Floods swept across Europe

I made my way back across
The Arctic Wilderness in Winter
Across many miles
On a very rocky road
That was built in the middle of the night

My Future
Was screaming
To Catch Up to Me

The Geese Flew
As in all Wars
Blood was shed
Karma paid it’s respects
To US all

. . . ONDOUTAEHTE . . .

Who can understand
The psyche of a Jungie Warrior?
With a Heart of Stone
Betrayed by the Society
And times born unto it?

Isn’t it better to leave
Some things alone?

. . . ONDOUTAEHTE
