A Secret
A wonderful secret lay upon the threshold of the door to my heart. It sighs with forbearance of of knowledge which for now I shall not impart.Yet it cries out for me to exclaim; it shouts with its silence from within for me to proclaim.
Someday, oh yes someday I will to the world, this hearts silence explain. For of distance and soft dreams there lies a secret hope in things not seen.Though mountains may rise and seas may raise against their angry swell. The secret which lies upon the door of this heart I shan't make effort to quell.
Odes to joy sleep for now in the secret places of the heart.Sweet are its silent splendors wrought forth from truth...Built on emancipation from the very start.

Hi J, And one day, your secret will be emancipated to it's full expression. This is a wonderful write.. I can picture child peeking around a corner with a silly grin on his face like he's up to something... thank you for sharing this...

| Beautiful work, Allen...and sometimes a secret wants to be screamed out to the world...but then there are those times when it seems almost "cozy" to keep it to yourself. |
