Mister Heath had been a hypnotist ,
On the stage when I was young .

A mirror of the mystic life ,
He hypnotized everyone .

His act was packed with trances deep
and other things that did allure .

One has to keep an open mind
with hypnotism that's for sure .

With the blink of an eye
he made grown men cry and bark like a dog ,

He made women scream for help
Because they were sinking in a bog .

Then with one snap of his fingers
They’d come back to reality .

Why was the audience laughing :
To them it was a mystery .
