Sails In The Sunset

Serenity comes when you realize you have peace of mind.

Far away, beyond the beautiful sunset of time,
I can hear a distant drum calling me to come and dine.
It began so long ago when I was listening to its tune,
Like being near  the cedars of Lebanon at high noon.
I set my sails to go there one day,
Time and time again, I would pray.
The days passed so quickly  for me here,
I must stay focused , and not fear.                                                                      Sails in the sunset will be waiting for me,
Directing and leading with its decree.
A promise , a love so divine,
Far away, beyond the beautiful sunset of time.
