As a lover of the sea and ocean I also have no misconceptions about both it's physical and metaphysical (not sure if that is the right word or not). I have sailed the high seas in storms that would make a grown man shiver in fear and I have been calmed out of my worst fears by the lulling of the waves. Great write.
