This cloud reminded me of MJ's glove.

Oh, Michael, why?  Fifty too damn
young.  I know.  That's my age, or
will be tomorrow.  I was not ready
to hear the news -- already lost
more than we should have this
week.  Ed.  Farrah.  Now you --
reeling in shock.  Even though the
world judged, didn't understand,
it lost a fantastic entertainer, one
of the best.  That is how I want to
remember you.  Hearing you sing,
watching you dance:  you were a
Thriller.  Not ready to say goodbye:
pray you find the peace you wanted.

It is said that there was a lot of power in that silver glove and it seems to resonate as well in these lines and the very appropriate image. Michael Jackson's physical self may be gone but the music of his soul is ringing out louder now than it ever has! Much gratitude StormSpinner,

I keep thinking back to the days when he was a darling little boy with a dynamite voice stealing the show from his brothers...that's the Michael I remember most. Like Elvis, it hurt me to see the changes that fame wrought and I hope the man he became, who desperately sought peace, has found it at last. Rebecca

Amen. Happy Birthday Karla. I was just devastated when I heard the news
Just two hours after he died. I wake up to Farrah gone, Ed, David Carradine now the greatest performer ever to hit the proverbial stage.
I loved him then and love him now.I never turned my back on him. I never believed a damned nasty thing they accused him of. What a great way to say goodbye, Karla.

Like you, I am so shaken with Michaels death... like I've lost a son or a loved one.. I was like a kid about him, and his music, and his moves, and his huge heart.. I never saw a color...he was only bright and beautiful to me... I have cried all evening, and just can't shake this... We just never know do we? I pray that He will get the love and credit in death for all the wonderful things he did that he never received while here on this earth! This writing hit home... thank you, and hugs, lindalaw
