No vampires! No werewolves! No boogeymen in these pages. For my readers who want stories with thrills, chills, and surprise endings, but not so horrific to keep them from..

My fur comes off in clumps,

Though dad does brush me,

It seems to keep him out of the dumps,

I can fill a plastic bag & off me it keeps the flea…

I give dad big kisses when brush me he does,

My fur is far from being peach fuzz,

Dad laughs and says I am molting,

Some may, but brushing me he doesn’t find revolting…

Dad wonders if fur I make,

Even after off me all he does take,

I wish I could shed it off with one big shake,

But then I’d be bald shedding my fur like a snake…

Aw Rufuz! My three Rotties, Halas, Capt'n Jack and Cleo are all storing their balls of fur so's I can knit em up some snowpawboots. I haven't figured out how to do it yet but they have plenty of hair. Are you itching too Rufuz? My guys butts itch so much they whine for me to scratch them, but when I do their skin starts making funny waves, oh for the dry skin! Doggies have it so ruff..get it??

Hi Rufuz, Just be glad you're not a cat! We can't brush them, they'd rather lick themselves just so they can throw up hairballs! I have a cat, Felix. Maybe you'd like to meet him one day!? ;)

Rufuz is a furry beast
Hair falls out like crazy
Brother Pete does the same
But He's a lot more lazy
We don't go to the beach
Because he's such a chicken
But I don't have the shedding deal
That both of you are stricken

Yup Rufus, one big shake would sure be nice and a whole lot easier too. But I think daddy-human likes brushing you, and another thing, fur sure, you should prolly make sure he's not putting glue in yur shampoo. You just keep getting better bubba
