Dedicated to all who has lost their lover to another happening that is not death! |
|
She walked away
Like she lost her way
Returning to no hand
Because she won't understand
How do I tell her?
And where do I meet her?
Because she's gone too far!
Farthest than the known far...
I don't know if life is fake
Because all she did was fake
She fed me lies like they're flakes
Deceit'as yummy -like a child's cake
She tamed my soul, like voodo
I tried hard; but ask "What did I do?"
I was being fooled!
'Was happy she made good food
Aw! See the blood from my heart
I was crucified by my love
Truth hidden like a hand in glove
Now all is bare...
...my sight is clear
She ran away like a fired rat
In the bush,
Chased at home by a cat
...At home; Home has rejected her
She lost her pride
She lost all the wings
that made her glide
She deserted her throne,
left her crown
Now her head is open,
Where is her dignity?
Tell me, an African queen on the run?!
Never! But this one walked away
-Not in pride, but she did all in shame!
No pride if she comes back
She already lost all;
She has none!
She's now empty...
Like a broken glass without a wine

| This was done out of painful loss of my girl... The poem is a better picture of what has happened within me. It goes beyond what I feel should be, but what had already been! |
