The only bucket I plan to kick is the one blocking my path to joy.

The subject matter
continues to be chatter
served on a cold dish platter
enough to brain scatter
People keep dying all around
Thank God I'm still above ground
where some joy can be found

Michael Jackson :-(
Steve McNair - Air McNair :-(
Bernie Mac :-(
Family members :-(
My mother came real close :-(

Like flies people drop
seems like it will never stop
My own mortality
becomes a formality
I'm too busy living to worry
about dying
but for everyone one
I do a little praying and crying

Then I hit the door
try to even the score
knowing all the time the score
won't even much more
I don't wallow in sorrow
I simply live like there's
no tomorrow
I live for me and those who
passed away
get some rest then look forward
for the sunrise of another day
I face the rising sun
after I work figure my fun
then do it until I'm done
Versing is one
