We all have our burdens to bare, some more than others and sometimes it bothers some people to see those who seem to always have smiles on their faces. But smiles are not necessarily indicative of an absense of woes but, in many instances, can indicate the presense of Jesus. Only He knows the burdens one bares...and one is enabled to smile because they are leaning on Him and He, in return, responds to their tenderly guiding and keeping them. This kind of love would make Even if they might have just shed a tear...that you know nothing about.

From the bottom of my very soul

my heart broke last night

Still my stride today, somehow

is hopeful and light

No one but You, Sweet Jesus

knows what You brought me through

How I clung to You and pleaded for remembrance

...that Your Precious Blood was for me too!

This mountain is too rugged to climb...

I complained...I can't!

I want this cup removed I moaned...

Dear God....I'm spent!

Then from the hallow of Your hands

from Your all encompassing Spirit and depth...

came Your miraculous peace...I slept

No one I meet can tell

not even those that know me well

Not even a hint of the battle forged is seen

For Thou has enabled me...upon YOU I lean

You are with me...every step of the way

You are on my every side

No one knows that...

Last night...I cried

Ah so beautiful Joyce.

Georg, you may be able to do just as you say below..and you are correct in a way. However, sometimes, some of us need to cry to wash the sadness away, AND THEN we smile for the pain has been replaced with peace.

Don't make Him sad, instead of, because that's the color of your soul.

This Poem is so beautiful with a lot of truth and honesty, because no body but no body knows what we go through but God, and that smile after a cry is signs of prayers being answered that everything is going to be alright. Thank you Joyce
