Are we there yet? Will we ever be?

Are we there yet?

Where is "there?"

Are we where we are suppose to be?

Where is that?

The place where everyone values one another is where I want to be.

Will we ever get there?

I don't know but it is worth the effort to try to get there.

I appreciate and agree with your philosophical perspective, Willow Tree. I also think that willow trees are beautiful but that is substance for another time, another place, another poem. Thank you for sharing your sentiments. Love and best wishes,

Regis

Hi Willow
So many questions and so few answers. It's a shame so many in the world don't make an effort.
I'd also like to welcome you to AuthorsDen. I've been here for a year now and enjoying every moment. I look forward to reading more. Cheers! Liz

As writers and especially poets we do tend to ask more questions and often ones that are difficult to answer. I liked the questions and answer you gave in this one...welcome to the den and look forward to reading more of you in future.
