As we all pray for our Brother

Ed Matlack who is hospitalized,

I’ve been pondering this story,

It’s given me some needed smiles.

“I have a new baby in my house;

Even had to take it to Tim Hortons,

So it was happy!”

A.D. Member Jasmin Horst E.P. Seiler

What does a baby robin order,

When she visits Tim Hortons;

I hope her mother Jasmin helped,

Since infant nutrition is so important

Did Jasmin’s precious little Turdus Migratorius,

Joyously select a Whole Grain Blueberry Muffin,

Or a Blueberry Bloom or Blueberry Glazed Donut,

Tiny Turdus’s selection must have been a tough ‘un

And I hear that Tim Hortons is expanding its bird menu,

To be dedicated exclusively to Canada’s feathered pets;

But I sure hope they will start a dog and cat section soon,

I wonder if their management has thought of this idea yet

And I sure hope Jasmin is entering Turdus,

In Tim Hortons Summer Road Trip Contest;

The winner receives $5,000, and free blueberries,

Surely, Turdus Migratorius’ epic road trip is the best

I personally like Tim Hortons Blueberry Cheese Danish;

And I’d Bet That Little Turdus Will Also Find It – Delish.

Jasmin, a pipe eye dropper and a bird...what can go wrong????????
Hope he go for it, 5.000 smacks in the pocket will get a lot of bird seeds until that robin is of a condor size!

You crazy old ass, I gots nough rassing just having a bird, I mean a robin, anyway it went in undercover of a napkin, the manager looked suspiciously at me, actually it liked the cream cheese and bagel, my friend insisted he wasn't buying coffee for him, but I had a little eye dropper with the good stuff. It was the size of a thumb then, and found comfort in the palm of my hand didn't want to leave day or night, so I thought why not take him along, my dear old ornary Scott boozing body Mc Hardy, thought I was crazy at first, asking him to take the bird in his shiny Beamer, and then to Tim Hortons but he relented and said, with all the crazy things we did together, this is the nuttiest, I did have to agree, but I love that little robin so. His leg is now much better, and it has reached adult size, soon I'll set him free with trepitation, he bites me now when he wants something and gives me lip, a real teanager, well you know the rest old buddy. Keep me up to date on the Devil will ya, I got some mail from MIcke, and Kate, lets keep our prayers going, and whatever else, and thanks for the cheerful slander you rascal. Jasmin Horst

Only in Canada eh...well must confess it is my favorite coffee, and as for the birds, our Halifax airport has a whole flock of birds living inside it (meadow larks I think) and also one of the wharehouse restaurants also allow the fine feathered friends inside to dine on french fries and hamburger buns left behind by patrons...only in
