The blade my guide, I take it in stride.

It had to be, death, silent screams.

Friends long have gone, all hopes withdrawn.

The tears I embrace, my company in pain.

The end I taste, nothing left to face.

Depressed and alone, I gaze upon my stone.

This decision I make, my life will soon change.

Hopes and dreams have gone awry, Sing to me this Gothic Lullaby.

I like this. Loving things gothic as I do, I loved that title. I like that there is some hope of change towards the end so that it's not navel gazing, but the raw insides of a soul in pain coming to a decision. I could imagine this as a song, too.
