These things we should freely give to our children.

A child knows the joy of christmas morning

A child knows the cry of sadness and tears

A child knows when its stomach is full

A child knows when there is nothing to eat

A child knows when it’s welcomed and loved

A child knows when it rejected and alone

A parent should know when their child is happy

A parent should know when their child is sad

A parent should know when their child is full and healthy

A parent should know when their child is hungry and sick

A parent should know when to embrace their child with love and care for it

A child should never have to ask, what a parent should freely give.

I think its a beautiful poem and I see that there is a cute picture of a little child playing with a toy karaoke machine. I do wonder whether thats a picture of one of your children. As is, I love your poem and you have opened my eyes to how parents give their children whatever they want without the children needing to ask.Oh, and thank you for the warm welcome you gave me.

A great reminder that good parenting requires not only our love but our attention.

This is simply beautiful and true. It is also a great way to have a relationship between a child/children and their parents.
