your goodbye burned up all my oxygen.

the universe is whispering,
its visible truths,
that are all but hidden in bed frames,
and shaking hands and dance moves,

and dance she does
among the trees and

g

leaves,
along the smoke that was left,
when you blew her your goodbye
on the wind and it burned up all her
oxygen.
