More idle thoughts...

Autumn Hints

       raking up Autumn

       old country lane

       summer love past

       rusty freight train

softly dust settles

roads open ahead

offers faint promise

things left unsaid

       gray over blue

       cold winter sky

       snowflakes erase

       teardrops in eyes

hands holding hands

chasing cold chill

love that’s forever

destiny to fulfill

       snuggle up together

       old Christmas eve

       fireplace is warm

       just couldn’t leave

I like fall, the fire place and I like Georg's rum idea
But I don't think I want to cuddle with you or Georg as far as that goes LOL
Great poem, I enjoyed
Hope you had a good day

Autumn? Just teasing us, seems more like Spring out there than Fall - severe storms expected here Thursday and possibly late in the weekend - send me your cool weather you don't want, Fee, happy to accept it. :) Beautiful lines -

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

We don't get all that much snow, or beautiful leaves turning down here in the swamp, but it was in the sixties this morning when I arose, I'll take that . . .
