about my ex

How long have I been sleeping?

Beside your body and out of

my skin.

I cursed your footsteps at my window,

at my door, at my ear, at my neck.

You followed my scent all the way from

your wife, from your home, your throne

How did you land in my garden?

Is there anyone to monitor my sanity?

Put your hand on my belly, put your eyes

on my body, put your breath on my neck

and pull me under.

Well in your bio you mentioned raw emotions and I must say this write bleeds with the pain and wanting of need, desire and sadly a sense of acceptance. Very well done Stephanie.
