Night Angel

When laughter has no respond,
when sparkles in the eyes are gone,
when the Angel picked up your soul,
when the life after is cold

Last night I saw an angel by my bed
She reached out tried to touch my hand
She told me everything’s gonna be alright
Don’t be scared, I’ll stay through the night

I woke up, putting on my morning coffee
But I didn’t feel the same
Picked up the phone, was going for the showers
And that’s when I saw messegers with your name

Is that why you called me with tears in your eyes
Did you know and wanted to say goodbye?
You told me to keep you close in my heart
And never again be afraid of the dark.

Outside the trees are whispering your name,
Inside I have a non ending mindless game.
Even if I try to understand
I will never hold your hand
Everywhere I turn
memories of you still burn

You sent me the angel in my room,
Please come back to me soon,
let me hold you, let me feel you
I'll reach out my hand too.

That’s why you called me with tears in your eyes
you knew and wanted to say goodbye.
I will always keep you close to my heart
And never again be afraid of the dark.

Goodnight my little angel.
I will always love you

Goodnight my little angel.
I will always love you

Your words "speak" to my heart, Angelica. Truly I do not know where I'd be today if angels had not saved me time and time again along the way. Love and best wishes,

Regis
