Inspired by 'Lords and Ladies' by Terry pratchett

You know that sometimes strange things happen?

Strange things happen to me all the time

Odd nights I awake and I am a bird

I borrow its wings and it doesn't mind

The fox is my friend and often I lend its skin

when I need a favour

Swap souls for a while and afterwards leave

A saucer of milk to repay her

I understand it may appear absurd

The silliest thing you ever heard

But you'd be amazed at what you can see

When you're out of your shell as often as me

Enjoyed this poem - for both its supernaturel and surreal qualities. Have just noticed 'favour' rhyming with 'repay her' - it's definately poem to come back to for a reread.
