The early 1970’s might have been the most appropriate time in America’s history to set up a radio news network for and about Blacks in the United States, more appropriate..

Venus is love!
Music: Loreena McKennitt,
Parallel Dreams album, song: "Moon Cradle"

That time

by Amber "V" Moonstone

Silence is heard
He brushes the doldrums from his mind
Silently walking toward a crumb of joy
only to be dashed into reality.

Totality of circumstances,
stagnate his mind into a state of escape.
He dreams of a time that he can be free
to do and say whatever he wishes.

Life has brought him to this very moment,
and restlessness has entered his existence.
He daydreams of a moment's clarity,
and escapes into his dreams.

There is a call toward the bliss of the unknown.
He walks toward the light of the moon in Venus.
Seeing her standing on the rocks that lead
to the freedom of the ocean.

Her hands are outstretched as if beckoning him
to come to her for comfort and pleasure.
She is like a Goddess sent from another time.
Her hair is ebony and her dress made of silken chiffons.

She bears a symbol around her neck
9 pointed star with a luminescent  jewel in the center.
He blinks his eyes as if it were a mirage.
She is still standing there calling to him.

He slowly walks toward the rocks,
cautiously at first, but picks up his step.
He feels as if he is being drawn toward her will.
In the distance he sees a flash of lightening.

Nothing is on his mind but her.
As he gets closer to this woman,
He can see her blazing green eyes,
and magnificent luscious lips.

A glow is all around her,
shimmering under the stormy night,
as if she were the lighthouse
guiding him from his storm.

Standing face to face
with this beauty,
he is transported into her world,
swirling like a tornado going downward into the sea.

She lives within the ocean's safety,
in a house built to withstand any storm.
Gently they embrace as if time stands still.
Her softness arouses his senses,

He is awakening into his dream,
She touches his face and kisses his forehead,
as if to soothe his mind with her kisses.
He slowly drifts into a state of Nirvana.

Transcending into a state of mind,
where only she is the focus.
A time to give and receive
all the  pleasure of her exotic seas.

The ocean soothes the chaos in his mind,
relishing in the pleasure of the moment
and rising up to accept her offerings.
He is truly within his visionary dreams.

In his dreams he has longed for this,
now, reality surpasses any of them.
Upon entering her sleeping quarters,
He sees all the jewels of her being.

She is the epitome of a Goddess,
soft, beautiful and enticing.
His resistence is completely drained,
and he gives her all of his manly attention.

Somewhere between Wonderland and Nirvana
He loses his fear and becomes whole once again,
Never to return to his old existence,
and remains within the tranquility of that time.
